Fundraising and Events

I volunteer as the President Of Youth Board Committee for Magen David Synagogue’s board. In this role, I am responsible for leading community engagement and fundraising initiatives on behalf of young members. My key accomplishments on behalf of the community include:

• Organizing a Lag B'Omer holiday festival. To increase fundraising potential, I recruited event sponsors and created a ticketed entry program. I also advertised the event throughout my community, with flyers and virtual communications.

• Hosting a father-son basketball tournament in the community gym.

• Conducting a virtual raffle to fundraise for my Shul.

• Assisting elders to set up the Shul for the High Holidays, including arranging flowers, organizing books, and cleaning the space.

• Planning and hosting an inaugural community barbecue to promote community and bring people together.
